Fall 2014 UEF Mini-Grant Awards
On Monday, November 10, 2014, the Urbandale Education Foundation awarded over $5,000 in grants to seven Urbandale educators—three times as many grants from this past spring! The UEF “Mini-Grant” initiative is intended to provide UCSD educators the opportunity to receive funds from the UEF in order to assist and support creative ideas/projects that align with the district vision: to bring learning to life for everyone. This increase in grant participation speaks to a greater awareness of the grants and the innovative aspirations of Urbandale educators to continue discovering new ways to increase student engagement and achievement.
The UEF Mini-Grants are open to all UCSD educators. Educators completed an application, received approval from their supervisor, and agreed to provide a summary of results and/or outcome to the UEF Board at the conclusion of the project/initiative. Those results will be taken into consideration as the UEF streamlines fundraising initiatives.
The UEF Board of Directors would like to thank all UCSD supporters that have contributed to the UEF this past year and in previous years. It’s through your support that Urbandale students and educators are bringing learning to life!
